Memphis Grizzlies

Record: 37-12

First Half Highlight: 15-2 start to the season

Analysis: In what I believe to be the best team in the NBA, the Memphis Grizzlies have been having their best season in quite some time, if not ever.

Marc Gasol is the best center in the NBA, assuming you weigh defense as part of a center’s duty (sorry, Boogie), and is flanked by Zach Randolph and Mike Conley, two of the most underrated players in the NBA.

The Grizzlies are true to their ‘Grit and Grind’ mantra and lull teams to sleep, before pouncing on them on a nighty basis.

There’s one team in the Western Conference that I believe can slow down the Golden State Warriors, and that is this Grizzlies team. No one else. I predict that we’ll see Memphis playing well into June.

Grade: A
