First Half Highlight: Andrew Wiggins giving it to the Cavs
Analysis: This season was about one thing and one thing only, the progression of Andrew Wiggins. And he’s come along nicely over the course of the team’s last 20, or so, games. Wiggins is averaging 15 points and four rebounds per game on 43 percent shooting this season.
Most importantly, he popped the Cavaliers with the “this could be us but you traded me” game last week when he dropped 33 points in a loss to the Cavaliers.
Ricky Rubio missed significant time this season, but his missed time could’ve help this team in the long run via a high pick in the NBA draft this year.
Minnesota’s future is bright, despite what their record may indicate right now. They pass.
