First Half Highlight: Starting the season 0-17, that’s impressive

Analysis: Let’s not sugarcoat anything with this team. The goal this season was to simply tank away another season and win the NBA draft lottery. So far, they’ve been successful with the first part of that goal. The second part to that is out of their hands.

Nevertheless, the Sixers have been what they’ve been for the past two seasons: bad. I mean, I suppose that they do provide us with some theater occasionally. But, for the most part, this team has been bad.

Considering their expectations coming into the season, I’m not even mad. It’s not like they’ve been feet and legs below the rest of the league, because they haven’t. Actually, they aren’t even the worst team in the NBA.

That still doesn’t make tanking OK, though.
