Record: 17-31
First Half Highlight: Boogie’s 39 point, 11 rebound game vs New York
Analysis: The Sacramento Kings had such a great start to the regular season.
After starting the season 5-1, the Kings are now 17-31. Safe to say that circumstances has shifted. Drastically. And for Sacramento, it was a myriad of things. First, DeMarcus Cousins missed double-digit contests due to an untimely case of viral meningitis, and then, shortly after, Mike Malone was fired.
This team is a mess, but not any more than the people running their front office. I just feel bad for Cousins, who has to put up with this for the foreseeable future.
The only reason why the Kings get a passing grade is because of Boogie. That’s it.
