After suffering through a very rough patch in their schedule, in which they lost seven of nine games, the Portland Trail Blazers actually recovered nicely to closeout the first part of the season. Which included wins against the Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets.
That’s exactly how to right a ship that seemed to have lost its way for a moment. From here on out, it’s more about playoff positioning for this team. Teams that need to be avoided at all costs are the Warriors, Grizzlies and Spurs. Against any other team in the West, I’d actually like the Blazers’ chances.
