The Suns could’ve done a lot worse.

Instead of just standing pat with Isaiah Thomas, after trading Goran Dragic to the Heat, the Suns turned around and worked the phones to swing Thomas (essentially) for Brandon Knight.

Knight is actually playing better than Dragic this season and has almost single-handily made the Bucks relevant in the Eastern Conference. Knight will probably play a little more off-ball in Phoenix than he did in Milwaukee, but his shooting prowess should allow him to transition perfectly fine.

On the other hand, with the addition of Michael Cater-Williams, the Bucks have officially become the longest team in the NBA. A lineup of MCW-Middleton-Giannis-Jabari-Henson next season is going to cause a whole lot of problems for opposing teams.

Trade Winner: The Suns. Brandon Knight is a borderline NBA all-star and was one of the bigger reasons why the Bucks are in playoff contention. If they were parting ways with Goran Dragic, getting Knight might’ve been the next best thing, considering the circumstances.
