Before the season started, Dion Waiters said that the backcourt of he and Kyrie Irving was the best in the NBA.

Then, the Cleveland Cavaliers hit an epic skid that forced Waiters out of Cleveland, in the way of a trade. Waiters is now a role player for the Oklahoma City Thunder, after seeing time as a starter this year for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Even though the trade has “worked out” for both the Cavs and Thunder, there were expectations that Waiters was going to make a huge improvement this year, and that hasn’t happened.

Not yet, at least.
