The Hornets are the definition of the word “meh.”
They have been fine all year long. They don’t do anything to excite you, especially with Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson missing substantial amounts of time, but they’ve done just enough to this point to earn themselves a very “respectable” 29-35 record in the Eastern Conference.
The Lance Stephenson project has overall been a failure, and they are almost certainly the most boring team in the NBA. They rank in the bottom-5 of points per game (94.7), and top-5 in points against per game (95.9).
They hold other teams to low scores, and match that with low scores of their own. I personally will not stand for watching more than the required amount of 77-75 Hornets games; for the sake of every NBA fan, let’s hope they don’t make the playoffs.
