John Calipari

Last Job: Head Coach, University of Kentucky

I’m throwing this name in the hat as a wild card, let’s make that clear before we start.

There’s probably no way that John Calipari is going to come over to the NBA this offseason, but if he did have interest in coming back now, which he does, why wouldn’t it be with Anthony Davis?

He coached him in college and had great success. He knows how great Davis can be and this team has a ton of potential if the right buttons are pushed this offseason.

Calipari could have success in the NBA if he decides to reunite with one of his old players. It would be hard not to win with Anthony Davis.

If nothing else, the New Orleans Pelicans should at least test the waters and gauge Calipari’s interest. If they don’t, some questioning really needs to be done about the direction of this franchise.
