Apr 4, 2015; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Duke Blue Devils guard Tyus Jones (5) shoots over Michigan State Spartans guard Bryn Forbes (5) in the second half of the 2015 NCAA Men

Tyus Jones

School: Duke

Position: PG

Size: 6-1, 190 lbs

Projection: 1st Round

We all know the question when it comes to Tyus Jones’ game translating to the NBA — his size.

If Jones was a few inches taller and a few pounds heavier, I don’t think anyone would be questioning his potential in the NBA. Though, his small size is a true concern, as it should be.

There were many times during his freshman year at Duke when he just flat-out took over games. He’s a big game performer and was often Duke’s closer. You can’t teach those types of traits. Though, his ideal size and quickness will probably keep Jones from being a lottery pick.

Despite that, lacking size and quickness for a point guard could prove to be a huge hindrance for his NBA future.
