There’s something to be said about a player who doesn’t care about hurting his draft stock by returning to the court before his wrist is fully healed.
Justin Anderson could have taken the rest of his junior season off to let his wrist fully heal, but he realized his team had a chance to accomplish something special so he returned to action in time for the NCAA Tournament.
Anderson shot 30 percent from beyond the arc his freshman season and 29 percent his sophomore season. Last summer he put the work in at the gym and bumped that to 45 percent his junior season. The NBA is in an era where 3-and-D wings are at a premium, so Anderson looks ready to make an instant impact on an NBA team.
