NBA: Predicting The 2016 All-Rookie Team

Center: Jahlil Okafor
Unless Okafor suffers the same fate that his frontcourt predecessors in Philadelphia did, and get injured, he should be poised to have a pretty big year for the Sixers.

Not only does Okafor have nobody who will really challenge him for minutes at the center position, he also seems ready to be the focal point of their offense. And if his summer league performance is any indication, Okafor should put up numbers despite the lack of offensive talent that surrounds him.
Although he only shot 44.7 percent from the field in the summer, Okafor still managed to average 16.2 points per game. That’s not to say that Okafor won’t struggle for stretches of time, but his talent paired with the opportunities he will receive, are a recipe for an All-Rookie team, and possibly a Rookie of the Year award.
