11. Dwane Casey, Toronto Raptors
Dwane Casey took the Toronto Raptors from being a bad team in a good Eastern Conference to being a good team in a bad Eastern Conference. If that doesn’t scream success, then I don’t know what does. But actually, Casey has completely revitalized the Raptors organization.
After Chris Bosh left for the Heat, the future of the Raptors looked bleak. But Casey built his rotation around Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, and earned his team the fourth seed in the playoffs. I would rank Casey higher, but he is 3-8 in the playoffs and can’t seem to get his team past the first round.
In the words of Fran Fraschilla, the Toronto Raptors are “two years away from being two years away.”
