9. Erik Spoelstra, Miami Heat

So the Miami Heat lose LeBron James and they fail to make the playoffs, funny how that works. This is part of the reason why I refuse to recognize David Blatt as being a quality NBA coach. If Spoelstra did not have the two NBA championships, I would probably put him in the same category as Blatt.

But Spoelstra did get Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron to play as a team and win games. Also by “play as a team” I mean give the ball to LeBron and occasionally let Chris Bosh shoot a deep three so that he will stop complaining.
