Jabari Parker’s Return

Jabari Parker seemed well on his way to becoming the NBA Rookie of the Year last season. With averages of 12.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, he seemed to be adjusting to the NBA game just fine. Just two weeks before his injury, he scored a career high 22 points and appeared to be gathering momentum.

With the Bucks finishing at 41-41 last season, you have to figure that win total will go up with the return of Parker. Not only is he a quality young man, but he has the chance to be a star. It will take time for sure. He will have to “dust off the cobwebs” so to speak, but once he does…look out NBA.

“It never gets any easier. But I will get stronger. My story is far from over.” Jabari Parker

The fact is, Jabari Parker is just 20 years old. With the miracles of modern medicine, returning from an ACL injury is not nearly as difficult as it was 20 years ago. He has shown to be both a resilient and motivated player; who appears will stop at nothing to be back on the court. I, for one, cannot wait to see his return. He offers a unique offensive skill-set to Jason Kidd‘s game-plan and figures to be an integral part of any success Milwaukee has this season.
