Youth and Versatility

Things are stirring in Milwaukee and the eyes of the NBA are finally shifting to the cold tundra of Wisconsin. Greg Monroe’s signing has let everybody know that the Bucks are no longer wallowing in a state of depression and being unremarkable. With an addition like Greivis Vasquez and the re-signing of the underrated Khris Middleton, this Bucks team is shaping up to be better than the cinderella version last season.

  • With every player but one (newly signed Chris Copeland) 28 years old or younger, this team has a nearly eclipse like bright future. With an organization and ownership group that cares about winning, things are changing for the better. It may not happen this year, but this team will be a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference playoff landscape for the foreseeable future.

With a renewed interest in basketball in Milwaukee, Bucks fans finally have something to look towards. With a young roster and a young coach this team has everything it needs to be a winner.

The versatility offered by a deep young roster in a weak Eastern Conference could this season be the season for the Milwaukee Bucks to make a massive jump? Only time will tell, but for now I think it is time to state the obvious.

Maybe it is time to “Fear the Deer.”
