Atlanta Hawks

Last season summary: 60-22, L, Eastern Conference Finals vs Cavs

Changes

Offseason Addition(s): Tim Hardaway, Jr., Tiago Splitter, Justin Holiday

Offseason Subtraction(s): Pero Antic, Elton Brand, DeMarre Carroll, Austin Daye, John Jenkins

Outlook

The Good: The Hawks are well positioned to contend in the Eastern Conference after re-signing Paul Millsap and acquiring Tiago Splitter

The Bad: Losing DeMarre Carroll will hurt the Hawks. He was the most versatile player on Atlanta’s roster

Concern: Who replaces Carroll?

Prediction: 2nd in the Southeast division

Note: While the Hawks overachieved last season, there will be a bigger target on their backs this season, especially in the Eastern Conference. No more catching teams off surprise anymore. How will they react?
