Orlando Magic

Last season summary: 25-57, Missed Playoffs

Changes

Offseason Addition(s): Jason Smith, C.J. Watson, Mario Hezonja, Tyler Harvey

Offseason Subtraction(s): Kyle O’Quinn, Maurice Harkless, Ben Gordon

Outlook

The Good: Solid young core growing together; Scott Skiles as the head coach

The Bad: Still too young to contend for the playoffs this year

Concern: Can the Magic take the next step and go from lottery to fighting for a playoff spot?

Prediction: 5th in the Southeast

Note: The Orlando Magic have done an excellent job of building a young core. Behind Elfrid Payton, Victor Oladipo, Mario Hezonja, Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic, the Magic have all the pieces to grow into a great team. It’s time for them to begin to put it all together.
