1. Golden State Warriors
Christina – Not much has changed over in Warrior’s land, but is that a good thing? Well, they have last season’s NBA MVP, an NBA title under the same roof, and they returned their entire team with the exception of David Lee. Repeating won’t be an easy task, but the Warriors possess versatility, unselfish team play and great chemistry. The biggest weakness I see with this team is that they’re in the Western Conference, where anything can happen, but this team will go as Stephen Curry goes…and I expect that to be far.
1. Houston Rockets
Michael – I’m probably too high on the Houston Rockets this season, but rightfully so. I look at the Rockets roster and don’t see many weaknesses. Perhaps the only thing that will hold this team back is injury, which Dwight Howard (back) and Donatas Motiejunas (back) have both tried to put behind them during preseason. If they can remain healthy, however, this team has enough to make an NBA Finals run.
