13. Boston Celtics
I don’t like Boston teams. It’s no different with the Celtics. I don’t like their court or their uniforms, but I do like Isaiah Thomas and coach Brad Stevens. This is another one of those teams whose grit and hustle earns them more wins than they probably should have.

There’s a little part in all of us that roots for these teams, and if you don’t, you’re not human. But just because I root for the underdog doesn’t mean they’re watchable. Well, outside of Thomas and Marcus Smart. I’ll watch for those two, and David Lee occasionally tapping into the fountain of youth.
12. Charlotte Hornets
Cardiac Kemba! Kemba Walker’s stepback jumper is still one of my favorite moves in the league. Factor in Nicolas Batum’s playmaking ability, a slimmer Al Jefferson on a contract, and the fact they’re in the East and have a chance at making the playoffs, the Hornets have more than enough reason to play motivated basketball. Plus, basketball aside, I’m totally intrigued by the new alternate court design they’re debuting this season.
