3. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
Stats: 29.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 26.7 PER
After missing almost the entire 2014-15 season, the Oklahoma City Thunder – with Kevin Durant – look like an entirely different team (of course). But after struggling without Durant last season to simply make the playoffs, which they failed to do, the Thunder look like a real NBA championship contender in the Western Conference.
The biggest difference in that – Kevin Durant. Even just the threat of one of the NBA’s best player (Kevin Durant) on the court with another of the NBA’s best player (Russell Westbrook) again makes this team’s supporting cast that much more dangerous.
The scariest part for the rest of the NBA is that Durant is probably still trying to knock off some rust.
