The Washington Wizards needed a power forward at the NBA Trade Deadline and they might’ve come away with the best player dealt.

Markieff Morris, when he’s playing to the best of his abilities, is one of the better forwards in the NBA. Though, he’s been far from that this season with the Suns. They better hope that it’s because he was in an unhappy situation or this could become one of the worst trades looking back.

From a basketball standpoint, this deal was worth the risk. The Wizards are currently out of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference and watched the Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons, two teams that they’re fighting for a playoff spot with, improve their teams.

A move was needed to be made. They better hope they made the right now.
