NBA: 10 Players That Have Had Disappointing 2015-16 Seasons

7 of 11

Mike Conley

Stats: 15.3 points, 6.1 assists, 42% FG, 36% 3PT

In a contract year, Mike Conley couldn’t have a better season. Though, because of all the team’s injuries, I suppose many will give Conley a pass. Not me.

Conley’s points were down from last season, as were both is field goal and three-point percentages. That isn’t great, especially his numbers from three-point range. When the NBA is slowly moving towards a more perimeter-oriented game, the last thing you want is your best backcourt player regressing.

I’m not saying that Conley regressed this season, but he certainly didn’t take the next step as a player. This summer should be really interesting. Will the Memphis Grizzlies fork over the money for his big pay day?
