I’m not saying that the Spurs won’t be able to pull of the feat…well, yes. That’s exactly what I’m saying. I can’t see the Spurs, or any team for that matter, beating the Warriors in a seven-game series.
Either way, this season will go down as one of the best in Spurs’ history. It’s just weird that it won’t end with an NBA Finals appearance.

The San Antonio Spurs are about to complete their best regular season in franchise history. Still, somehow, it won’t be enough. San Antonio will enter the NBA playoffs as the second seed in the Western Conference, and will have to face the daunting task of beating the NBA’s best team in history (record-wise).
I’m not saying that the Spurs won’t be able to pull of the feat…well, yes. That’s exactly what I’m saying. I can’t see the Spurs, or any team for that matter, beating the Warriors in a seven-game series.
