2. San Antonio Spurs (4-0)
The San Antonio Spurs made quick work of the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round, and I don’t think anyone was surprised to see that transpire.
Against a wounded Grizzlies team, the Spurs did exactly what they were supposed to do. Perhaps the best thing about sweeping the Grizzlies is that San Antonio is going to have at least one week, potentially more, of rest before they play the Oklahoma City Thunder.
That’s where their first test of the postseason will lie. Interestingly, San Antonio has had trouble with the Thunder in the past, mostly because the duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook can be so lethal at times. However, it’s going to be interesting to see how this version of the Spurs stack up against one of the teams with the most individual talent.
