2016 NBA Draft: Ranking And Analyzing The Top 20 Prospects
18. Marquese Chriss, F, Washington
After one quite impressive season at Washington, Marquese Chriss has a ton of potential as he makes the leap to the NBA. While he likely won’t contribute immensely right away, Chriss is the type of player that you pick simply because of his physical capabilities and his potential.
At 6-foot-10, Chriss is one of the best big men athletes in the pool. While his jump shot leaves a lot to be desired, it’s something that he’s noted he’s working on.
If he can develop a consistent jumper, Chriss has the capabilities to be a great stretch-4 or 5 in the NBA. Even based on that alone, he’s worth the risk.
