5 – Mike Conley, Memphis Grizzlies – 6’1″ Guard

Mike Conley is the best point guard in the free agency pool and will be very sought after. Conley averaged a good 15.3 PPG and 6.1 APG which will be very valuable. I doubt the Grizzlies have what it takes to keep Conley this summer.

The most notable of the teams chasing Mike Conley is the San Antonio Spurs. San Antonio, if Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili retire, will have more then enough cap space to lure in the great point guard. With Tony Parker aging fast and only playing in minimal games this year, the Spurs are looking for a great point guard to replace Tony and be a suitable piece to stick next to Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Besides the Spurs, there will be many more options that Mike Conley will have with every team looking to upgrade will seek him out. The question is, how do you pass up the opportunity, if it is presented, to join a competitor like the Spurs and learn under one of the greatest coaches of all time in Gregg Popovich?
