23 – Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs – 6’11” Forward

There is no surprise here that we all know come the 2016-17 season that Tim Duncan will be playing in his 21st season in a San Antonio Spurs jersey. The intrigue of the details of his deal with the Spurs is what puts his name on this list.

The Spurs are now starting to reach at the end of the Duncan, Ginobili, Parker era in San Antonio. The reins are officially being handed to Leonard and Aldridge, but to build young talent around these two, the big three are going to see a substantial pay cut.

Duncan and Ginobili are going to see their pay cut happen this season and Parker will see his in the near future, assuming none of the three retire before then. Rumors have been surrounding the time left that they all have. Was this Timmy D’s last season? Is next year going to be his last? Nobody yet knows, just make sure you don’t ask Gregg Popovich about it.
