22 – Lance Stephenson, Memphis Grizzlies – 6’5″ Guard

My, oh, my, Lance Stephenson has definitely been the most “interesting” player to play in the last several years. Lance is the king of weird shenanigans. Unfortunately, weird doesn’t mean talented in the NBA.

After his breakout season in 2013-14, where he scored over 1000 points, that Lance has yet to be discovered again. Moving from the Indiana Pacers to the Charlotte Hornets for more money, the Hornets saw half of the productivity he had in Indiana, scoring just over 500 points in 71 games for the team.

After that dismal season, he bounced from the Hornets to the Los Angeles Clippers, who traded him to Memphis for Jeff Green. Stephenson has had some horrible seasons and is the remarkable definition of a ‘one season wonder’. Lance is set to make $9.405 million in the 2016-17 season, and the Grizzlies have a team option on his contract. I doubt they pick it up his option seeing as Stephenson isn’t near worth that anymore.
