19 – Jamal Crawford, Los Angeles Clippers – 6’5″ Guard

Fresh off of his second straight Sixth Man of the Year award, Jamal Crawford’s contract is expiring. There is really no surprise here. Jamal has been with the Los Angeles Clippers for the last four seasons. During those seasons, he has scored over 1000 points in each off the bench. He has averaged 16.5, 18.6, 15.8, and 14.2 PPG respectively since the 2012-13 season.

Jamal made $5.675 million last year. The Clippers are in a tight bunch though, with the contracts of  Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and J.J. Redick all expiring next year. The determining factor will be how much cap space the Clippers are looking at saving to try and re-sign all three next year.

With that in mind, I think Crawford will be a stationary stay in Los Angeles for the time being. He is entering his 18th season and I don’t see him being of much value for much longer. His pay will either decrease to stay with the Clippers or he will find a bigger payday elsewhere.
