Los Angeles Lakers- No. 2 pick: D’Angelo Russell

Redraft: Kristaps Porzingis

WOW. Philadelphia and Los Angelos wish they could go back and snag this guy. At number 2 the Lakers would have acquired a beast. With Roy Hibbert manning the middle, Porzingis would be given the ability to play more outside (which is his game anyway).

Behind Porzingis, the Knicks improved 15 games going 32-50 this season.

Porzingis in LA is quite the thought, too. Kobe Byrant, Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle, Hibbert, Nick Young, and Lou Williams teamed up with Porzingis would have been a wonderful display of basketball in LA, and definitely it would have helped revive a franchise that is hoping they have themselves found a star.

Porzingis averaged 14.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game which is spectacular for a rookie. He also finished second in Rookie Of The Year voting.

He was surprisingly one of the most effective rookies this season and would have easily fit in with any team.
