Sacramento Kings- No. 6 pick: Willie Cauley-Stein

Redraft: Trey Lyles

This is my dark horse of the draft. Lyles was a standout freshman at Kentucky. He did not have an excellent season with the Jazz, but that, in part, was due to the lack of time he was given.

Trey Lyles in Sacramento would open up a new dimension to their offense.

With WCS in their lineup, the Kings usually play big with him and Cousins playing the 4 and 5, but now anymore. Lyles would step in and add a small ball dimension. Cousins can go play the 5 where he has success throughout his career, and Lyles could slide to a 4 where he would fit nicely.

Lyles was able to showcase his skills during Kobe’s last game. He had 18 points, 11 rebounds, and five steals that game. Too bad this was not the case this entire season, Lyles only averaged 17 minutes per game.
