New Orleans Pelicans

Priority: Build Around Anthony Davis

The Pelicans will be an interesting team to watch this offseason. They do not need a huge addition to return to playoff form.

Led by one of the NBA’s best big man Anthony Davis, the Pelicans will hope to add talent with the sixth overall pick this year. The weak spot for the Pelicans is either having a floor general or a knockdown shooter, and both of those will be available come draft night.

Buddy Hield, Jamal Murray, and Kris Dunn – a few of the draft’s best knockdown shooters – would fit right in New Orleans.

Not much in free agency is intriguing for them at this point. They have their superstar, and now they just need to build around him. The draft is their main summer priority.
