Brice Johnson, F, North Carolina

It’s tough to pin down where Johnson will end up. He’s on the precipice of the lottery in some mock drafts, but others have him plummeting all the way down to the middle of the second round. His value probably boils down to how much stock teams will place on his impressive postseason play.

Johnson was a one-man wrecking crew in March; a stifling rim protector on one end and aggressive scorer on the other. He was the catalyst in North Carolina’s run to the Championship game.

Many thought his play would catapult him to the top of the draft, but Johnson mania began to die the moment Kris Jenkins’ three dropped through the net to close out the title game. To me, he is still a top 15 player with his supreme length and suppleness making him lottery worthy. But as mentioned, a majority of the scouts pin Johnson in the second round, which is probably where he will go.
