Ben Bentil, F, Providence

Bentil was star point guard Kris Dunn’s running mate at Providence and often was the team’s best scorer. The junior averaged nearly 25 points per 36 minutes, doubling what he did his sophomore year.

But if you to talk Friars fans, they’ll tell you there were times where Bentil was actually their best player. Case in point he finished the years with a better PER than Dunn. He has long arms and is athletic, but his shooting needs to improve if he wants to find time as a wing player.

But there should still be enough teams ready to take a chance on Bentil. Boston has a plethora of picks and may take Dunn in round one. It wouldn’t be shocking to see the Celtics reunite the college pair at the pro level.
