23. Boston Celtics: Ivica Zubac

For the second time in three attempts this draft, the Boston Celtics will be inclined to select a foreign big man. This time with the 23rd overall selection the Boston Celtics will look to the more traditional frontcourt player, Ivica Zubac, from Croatia.

Zubac is a legitimate 7-footer, and he has solid touch around the basket. He doesn’t have any major strengths, but he also doesn’t have too many glaring weaknesses. At this point in a draft that isn’t all that deep, the Celtics could certainly do worse than bringing in a player like Zubac who is a safe role player at worst.
