29. San Antonio Spurs: Juan Hernangomez

In what might be the most San Antonio Spurs-esque move of all time let’s see them draft a player who might never make his way to the NBA. The good ol’ draft-n-stash technique is something that San Antonio is big on, and with their roster already pretty well stocked this pick will be used to maybe improve them down the road.

Juan Hernangomez out of Spain gives them the perfect option here. He’s 21 years old, and is developing at a nice rate as a stretch 4. That already gives him a place in the NBA, but the Spurs will have him proceed with his development overseas until he is truly ready to come into the league.
