Pick: Damian Jones, C, Vanderbilt

At this point in the draft, selecting a player like Damian Jones is a huge value pick. He’s easily the best big still on the board and is joining arguable the best team in the NBA.

More than anything, its Jones’ high potential that makes him a great pick. He isn’t as young as some of the other prospects in this draft, but he has all the tools to be a really good player at the next else.

Under the right guidance, and he’ll get that in Golden State, we could see him become a serviceable backup center in the NBA.

Heck, in the right situation, he could even be a starter one day.
