Memphis Grizzlies

Draft Picks: Wade Baldwin No. 17, Deyonta Davis No. 31, Rade Zagorac No. 35, Wang Zhelin No. 57

The depending free agency departure of point guard Mike Conley makes Wade Baldwin a smart selection. Baldwin is an aggressive guard with great size, who can distribute the ball as well as score. He will be a nice building block if Conley leaves.

Memphis obtained 2nd round picks Davis and Zagorac from Boston for future draft picks. Deyonta Davis was one of the biggest losers of draft night, as a potential lottery pick. Davis saw himself fall into the 2nd round.

Davis a raw prospect, with needed work on the offensive and defensive ends. He’s definitely more of a project, but should get a chance if Memphis leans towards a slight rebuild. Zagorac and later pick Wang Zhelin appear to be stashed players for development.
