Portland Trail Blazers

Draft Picks: Jake Layman No. 47

The Blazers didn’t own a draft pick until they obtained Maryland forward Jake Layman in a trade with Orlando in the second round.

Layman has the ability to provide some reliable bench depth. The Blazers development of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, along with the supporting players that led them to an exciting 2nd round playoff series with the Warriors, are in a good place heading into the summer.

Their big offseason focus has always been – and still is – free agency, where they have big money to spend.
