Most Improved Player: Jewell Loyd (Seattle Storm)

Jewell Loyd is having a great season so far, to say the least. Early in the season, there was buzz about how in shape and fit she was coming into this campaign after her great offseason. Needless to say, that work from the offseason is definitely paying off.

From being last season’s Rookie of the Year to this season’s Most Improved Player? This seems to be something that can happen for Jewell Loyd, who is averaging 16.6 points, 2.9 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game, improving all of her stats from last season.

"[via Seattle Times] “I’m still a young player in the league.” said Loyd. “I’m not in my prime yet. I’m on the rise and I definitely want to be in the conversation of the top five guards in the league.”"

Plus, she currently has the best highlight of the WNBA season thus far with this assist from rookie Breanna Stewart:

Honorable Mention: Sugar Rodgers(NY Liberty) and Elizabeth Williams(Atlanta Dream)

Next: Rookie of the Year
