ROY: Breanna Stewart (Seattle Storm)

This isn’t a surprise here, she was named Player of the Year three times, and has four NCAA championships under her belt from her tenure at the University of Connecticut.

Also, not long ago, she added an ESPY for Best Female Athlete to her mantle as well – all of these accolades at the tender age of 21.

She’s fifth in scoring, third in blocks, and tied for first in rebounding (9.5); she’s showing great leadership ability letting Seattle Storm fans know that the team is in good hands whenever the day comes for Sue Bird to retire.

"[via Seattle Times] “She’s finding her way of flourishing in our league and that’s through her versatility,” Storm coach Jenny Boucek said. “That’s also a credit to our team. Our team has been very open-minded in integrating her and giving her and us the freedom and the creativity to move her all over the floor and they just move around her. And so that says a lot about the character in our locker room.”"
