The Knicks might be back

As I’ve echoed throughout the NBA offseason: I’m not sure if the New York Knicks are going to be good this season. I don’t think anyone does. Not this early. But, if nothing else, the Knicks are going to be interesting again.

They’re going to be on national TV a ton and will get a lot of coverage. Their big names alone, after bringing in Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah this summer, will get the job done in that department. Basketball-wise, if this team stays healthy and plays to their abilities, they could be one of the top 4 seeds in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

However, assuming that they don’t have a perfect season, that’s seems pretty unlikely. With that said, making the playoffs should be the expectation for the Knicks. Is that enough to constitute as “back”? I don’t know.
