Projected Starting Five: Elfrid Payton, Evan Fournier, Aaron Gordon, Serge IbakaNikola Vucevic

The Orlando Magic may have tweaked their roster again this offseason, but not much has changed for their expectations overall. And their starting lineup is no exception.

Even after adding Serge Ibaka via trade this summer, the Magic are still searching for a star to build the team around. Since Dwight Howard left a few years ago, that void has never been filled. Many believed Victor Oladipo would develop into that for them, but he’s now in Oklahoma City.

The hope is that Elfrid Payton, Evan Fournier and Aaron Gordon take big step this season. Don’t bet on it, though.
