1. LeBron James – Cleveland Cavaliers

2015-16 Stats – 25.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.4 steals, 52% field goals

The clear-cut choice for the NBA’s top small forward is none other than the three-time champion LeBron James.

Some argued that Father Time was getting the best of James last season, but in the playoffs and, Finals specifically, he proved that he still has more left to give to the game of basketball. En route to delivering the Cleveland Cavaliers their first championship in franchise history, James averaged 26.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 2.3 steals on 52 percent shooting in the playoffs.

He also led every player in the NBA Finals (both teams) in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. His reward was an NBA Title and a third NBA Finals MVP trophy – and a three-year, $100 million contract from the Cavs.

I don’t think anyone will be dethroning LeBron from his title as the best player in the world anytime soon.
