Projected Starting Frontcourt: Kawhi LeonardLaMarcus AldridgePau Gasol

It’ll be weird not to see Tim Duncan in this starting lineup once the season starts, as the guaranteed Hall of Famer, and one of the greatest players of all-time, decided to hang it up.

The Spurs brought in Pau Gasol, who even in his older age still plays at a high level, is a great handed big man with a nice shooting range. Team that with Leonard and Aldridge, you have a top NBA frontcourt. Leonard is the ultimate two-way player who not only is a lockdown defender, but his offensive game continues to develop.

Aldridge is capable of big numbers and his 20-footer is almost a guaranteed two points. The new Big 3 in San Antonio were all in the top 20 in PER and top 30 in BP/M last season. They are long, big and will be a nightmare for teams throughout the season as the Spurs refuse to start over, continuing their longevity atop the Western Conference.
