Jayson Tatum, Duke

(2) Duke vs. Troy (15)

Jayson Tatum is the player at Duke to watch during the NCAA Tournament. He’s a one-and-done player who can play some defense. Often times when we see highlight videos, they’re mostly for the offense. Tatum has some highlights on defense and if you want someone who can protect the rim, he’s the guy you should be looking at.

On offense, Tatum can get to the rim. He can’t shoot the three very well – he only shoots it at a 34 percent clip – but that can come with time. He’s likely to score most of his points in the paint and provide a team with some easy buckets.

Tatum isn’t going to jump off the screen, but he does a lot of things well.
