Myles Turner did improve in year two of his NBA career (14.5 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks), but he’s still only scratching the surface of the player that he can ultimately be in the NBA. And with the likelihood of Paul George leaving, he’s going to need to take the next step.
He appears ready for more responsibility on the offensive end, allowing him to showcase his unbelievable skill set. He can shoot the three now, and shot it at a 35 percent clip last season. In fairness, that was only on about 1.5 attempts per game.
If he can also become slightly more prolific from beyond the arc, he will be almost impossible for other bigs to deal with.
