The Utah Jazz lost big in the Gordon Hayward sweepstakes. Even though they will return Joe Ingles, the fact that they just lost their best player makes it all meaningless.
Without Hayward, Utah is still going to be a good team but they’re not going to be a threat to secure a top 4 seed in the West. Not anymore.
Maybe some of their younger pieces take the next step and prove me wrong, but I simply can’t see it.
