LOS ANGELES, CA – DECEMBER 29: Luke Walton of the Los Angeles Lakers argues a call with referee Dan Crawford

23. Luke Walton, Los Angeles Lakers

In his first year as the Los Angeles Lakers head coach, Luke Walton has shown an ability to relate to his players on a very high level. Some of this is due to the fact that he basically is one of them.

As the youngest coach in the NBA (37 years old), Luke speaks their language and was in their situation just four years ago. Now as a coach, 2018 is the year Walton should be able to prove himself as an NBA head coach.

Last year going 26-56 was a growing up year for Los Angeles. With new additions KCP, skinny Julius Randle, and drafting Lonzo and Kuzma, 2018 looks to be a promising improvement for Luke and the Lakers.
